On top of that, there are a few money-saving rules: batch similar operations (don’t make 10 API calls when 1 would do), use local file operations instead of API calls when possible, and cache frequently used data.

A chatbot is something you “talk to.” Infrastructure is something you “depend on.” The difference: you don’t say “thank you” to your WiFi router, but you expect it to always be there, always working, always reliable.
